we specialize in state of the art rapid prototyping using a variety of techniques and technologies. Our experience in Rapid Prototyping (RP) turns your conceptual designs into touchable prototypes in hours. Our 11,000 Sq ft facility houses several SLA machines to allow for rapid turnaround on parts and a variety of materials to meet your prototyping needs.
Stereo lithography (SLA)
takes a 3 Dimensional computer aided drawing and slices it into layers. Through successive layering of photopolymers resins, which are hardened by a proprietary laser curing process, which adds layer upon layer to create a 3 Dimensional part.
Selective Laser Sintering (SLS)
is similar to SLA in that the turnaround for parts from concept to physical model are hours instead of days. SLS uses a similar concepts to SLA by building a part one layer at a time but instead of liquid resins it uses a plastic powder.
Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM)
uses an extrusion technology to “print a part”, from your supplied 3 Dimensional designs by depositing a thin bead of thermoplastic material that results in an extremely durable part. FDM parts are often used when form and function are critical because their strength often rivals that of injection molded parts. FDM is an ideal process for direct manufacture of assembly jigs and fixtures.
